Ameliyat genel anestezi altında uygulandığından ameliyat süresince herhangi bir acı söz konusu olmamaktadır. Ameliyat sonrasında önceden kullanılan burun tamponları yerine rahat nefes almanın sağlanabilmesi için şu an uygulanan yeni nesil silikon destekler ağrıya yol açmamaktadır.

Birinci haftanın sonunda burundaki alçı atel çıkartılır. Hala burundaki ve yanaklardaki gözaltı torbalarında ki şişlikler durmaktadır. Bu şişlikler ancak 15 gün içerisinde geçmektedir. Morluklar ise gitmiştir.

Açık teknikte burun ile dudak kısmının birleşim yerinde küçük bir kesi yapıldığı için ameliyat sonrasında hafif bir iz kalabilir. Kapalı teknikte ise bu kısımda kesi yapıldığı için iz kalma durumu oluşmaz.

What is Beard Transplantation?

The beard transplant is a minor procedure, performed under local anaesthetic at our Dr. Resat Aktas hair transplant clinic in Turkey, Istanbul. During the beard transplant, suitable hair follicles, which are genetically resistant to the balding process, are selected from the donor region at the back of your head. These hairs are then re-implanted one by one to make up your new facial hair.

How FUE Beard Transplant Works

Beard transplant technique uses a custom trumpet punch, less than 1mm in diameter, to carefully isolate hair grafts from your donor region. Once these suitable hairs are obtained, they are trimmed under high magnification to a uniform size, prior to being implanted into the recipient facial area.

During the FUE beard transplant, we shave your hair at the back and sides for the FUE extraction process, leaving your hair longer on top, if preferred. Typically, most men strategically get a fade hair cut prior to their procedural date, so that the hair grows back uniformly together.

You can expect to see your new beard growth between 6-12 months post-op, with continued maturation of the hair quality up to 18 months until the final result of your FUE beard transplant.

What does beard transplant recovery involve?

There is usually little downtime after a FUE beard transplant because the procedure is performed under a local anaesthetic. Clients will leave the clinic immediately and will be able to resume their normal activities although the recipient area will look slightly red and swollen for a few days.

You will be given detailed instructions on how to care for the transplanted hair follicles after the procedure.

Are there any risks to a beard transplant?

Previously, scarring after a hair transplant was a consideration but techniques have evolved greatly and a FUE procedure uses very fine, precise tools that should leave no visible scarring in the donor area. There should also be no scarring in the area where the hair follicles have been transplanted, whether that’s the scalp or face.

How much does a beard transplant cost?

Beard transplant costs are the same as a hair transplant procedure; it all depends on the amount of hair follicles that are transplanted in a single session and so an assessment of how many follicles are viable as well as your own expectations, need to be taken into account before a quote can be given.
